Thursday at lunch Connor had a little Mother's Day picnic at school. He was SO excited about me showing up early to spend special time with him. I love being his mommy... he melts my heart!
Later Thursday Brayden and I went on a date to Chick-Fil-A for their mother/son date Knight. Brayden LOVES going on dates (or man-time with dad), and often asks to go, so I was happy to get at least one more date in with him before Tyler arrives. Drew took our pictures before we left.
(he's starting to really want to make silly faces at the camera. I obliged ;) )
CFA had a knight and the cow going around the restaurant to take pictures. Brayden didn't want to take a picture with the knight, even though he was super obsessed with the costume and has now added "knight" to his mile long list of things he wants to dress up as for Halloween. He also was able to get another balloon sword, which is basically like telling a 4 year old boy that he won the lottery. I'm so grateful to Chick-Fil-A for offering such awesome events to families to help develop stronger bonds. I love my little knight!
