Almost Back to Reality.

After Tyler was born, my mom flew in to help with every day life. She helped cook, clean, do laundry and most importantly, kept the big boys entertained.

To say that she was a life saver would be an understatement. She took care of all of us for nearly two weeks while I recovered from delivery and tried to regain my bearings after adding a third child to the mix.

There were plenty of tears shed when she left last Saturday. Mostly from me, as I think all of the post partum hormones and emotions came crashing in. Before my outpouring of emotions, I somehow remembered to take pictures of the boys and Gigi together.

They sure do love her, and we are all so grateful for the selfless time she gave to our family. We love you mom, and are so appreciative of everything you did for us while you were here!

And as the title points out, I'm almost back to reality. Drew's been off this week continuing my help and being my 2nd set of hands and feet for me as I transition to being a mom of three. I'm a bit nervous about next Monday, when I'm sure that I'll feel like I've been pushed off a high dive into the deep end of parenting. Send coffee and Dr Pepper-- Lord knows I'll probably need both :)
