Meeting Great Grandma.

One of the highlights of our trip to Baton Rouge was the boys getting to see/meet their great Grandmother Laura. It was Connor's first time to meet her, and Brayden's second time to see her. Both boys were SUPER hyper from the baby shower, so getting pictures was a hard thing to do, but we did manage to get 2 decent shots.




My Grandma is so sweet and always thinks of the neatest things for gifts. This trip was no exception; she gave the boys each a copy of the Poky Little Puppy book, which was my favorite book growing up. My Grandma told me how HER grandmother used to read it to her during WWII, so she wanted to give it to the boys since it meant a lot to her when she was little. She also included a little Poky Little Puppy stuffed animal, and a DVD of her reading the story to them. Isn't that the sweetest?! Unfortunately, I didn't get pics of the boys opening their gifts, but the books are a hit. In fact, we read it today before naptime. Brayden loves it, and it's one of the few he'll sit down for the entire story. Score! Thanks Grandma!
