Yall, I have to be honest. I feel slightly ridiculous posting these pictures. It's almost as if it's an empty house. But it's not. And soon, perhaps in a year or two, the decorations will be up and it will feel more "homey." I just need to get out of boxes before I figure out how to decorate the walls. One step at a time. That's what I keep telling myself. So, without further ado, I give you our entry way.

I LOVE how the beadboard is topped with a ledge

Perfect to put pictures up and rotate decorations without huge holes in the walls. Score.
I'm not quite sure we'll keep the table in the entry. I still can't really decide. It worked really well in the old house, but kind of looks too proper against the beadboard? I don't know. Any ideas? I'm always open to suggestions. I LOVED how the previous owner had the entryway decorated, but sometimes I get nervous throwing colors like turquoise and bright reds out there.... I'm too plain Jane I guess. ha!
