An Apology and 5QF

Well, it's Friday. And I must apologize to my readers. Well, must is a strong word, considering it's MY blog and I can post whenever I want. But I know that people like when I post every day, so I apologize. To be honest, my life is so crazy right now. My high school reunion is soon, my sister's wedding is right around the corner, and as if all of that wasn't enough to top my cup, I'm having a baby in T minus 8 weeks (7.5 if you want to get technical). No, I've not done the nursery. Yes, the crib still sits in pieces in the nursery room. Yes, his clothes are washed, but they are in bins all around the room... not hung, and not folded. His changing table... still sits in the garage, in it's natural honey color with rose knobs. We have ALOT to do. But not enough time to do it! So, blogging has taking a back seat to all of my other priorities right now. And I am thinking it may not change for a while, so I'd appreciate the patience. And I know you are patient, because most of you are moms like me, trying to wipe the snot off your shirt as you walk out of the door to purchase another gallon of whole milk at Walmart.

I DO have some time this morning to join in on Mama M's 5QF. Here goes nothin':

1. What do you listen to while driving?
About 95% of the time, I'd say it's on ESPN talk radio. Yes, I am a sports junkie. I am certain Brayden will know most sports stats before he's in Kindergarten.

2. What is your least favorite thing about Fall?
Nothing! I LOVE fall, especially where I live. The weather is absolutely gorgeous, football is in full swing, the leaves are changing and yet it's still warm enough to not have to wear a HUGE jacket.

3. What does your dream house look like, inside and out?
On the outside it's cottage-looking with a HUGE front porch. I like neutral earth tones, so the outside is a combination of distressed brick and some type of earth tone wood siding with either dark brown or dark red shutters and front door.

Inside is neutral toned, warm and inviting. It's two story, with a huge kitchen that overlooks the living/family room. There is a dedicated playroom for all of the kids toys, a bedroom for me and Drew, each child, and a guest room with it's own bathroom.

4. Would you ever own a minivan?
Yes. I really don't understand why people are so against them. They cost a lot less than a suburban (both for the value and for upkeep), have ALOT better gas mileage, and let's face it. It's not like it's the van that we grew up with when we were kids. The new Odyssey's and Sierra's are awesome! We plan on getting one in a few years (an Odyssey of you're wondering!).
5. Do you wash new clothes before wearing them?
I would say 99% of the time, yes. But I have been known to tear a tag off and wear it in the past, so I can't say that I wash it all the time.
