23 Weeks {a pregnancy update}

24weekspregnant
How Far Along: 23 weeks, 4 days
Size of baby: 8.5 inches, 1.5 pounds, about the size of an ear of corn
Total Weight Gain/Loss: ~10 pounds. (it's probably more than that, but I only check at the doctors)
 Maternity Clothes: Oh yes. Non maternity clothes look ridiculous on me. (Although I can still pull off non-maternity t-shirts and sweatpants for the most part)
Gender: BOY! Tyler Paul.
Movement: The boy moves a lot. He moves mostly in the mornings before I get out of bed, and at night before I go to sleep, but I definitely feel him at other times throughout the day. Brayden loves to feel him move too, and sometimes will put  his toys on my belly to watching them "jump" from Tyler. ha!
Sleep: I've slept well the past week, and had lots of interesting dreams. The most strange was the one that had me in a small jet liner that had to make an emergency landing on the U of A campus. Then we were attacked by terrorist and had to hide behind the cockpit so we wouldn't get shot. Craziness.
Symptoms: I feel really big. I've had more heartburn this week... it's usually from eating too much acidic food, so I just have to watch my intake. And I get achy pretty easily, so I have to take it easy. My brain is starting to have some hiccups too.
What I miss: Being able to stay super active. I hate having to say no to my kids, but if I don't I end up paying for it by the end of the day, so right now I'm more of a watcher mom than a doer.
Cravings: Mexican food.
Food Aversions: nope. I can eat pretty much everything. Which is a double edged sword.
Best Moment this week: I loved the Super Bowl party. More for the food than the football if I'm being honest.
What I am looking forward to: I have an OB appointment this week. It's my glucola test, so I'm not necessarily looking forward to that part of it, but I'm definitely looking forward to hearing baby boys heartbeat :)
