For the past 3 winters I have had a strange, unexplainable condition with my toes. They get these bumps, swell up REALLY bad, and then they itch. Itch SOOOO bad. It's itchy and painful and, well, it's just NO FUN. The worst part is that it is made worse by wearing socks and/or shoes. Perfect timing, since we are in sub zero temps. I was really excited last winter when it never flared, but I am thinking that it didn't flare because I was a human incubator at the time :) This week my toes starting flaring again. Drew asked if it made me want to be pregnant again, and I quickly responded "no." Ha! I loved being pregnant, but now that I am weaning, I finally feel back to my old self. I'd like it that way for a bit longer than a week :) I am kind of at a loss right now, because basically in 2007 the doctor left me with no explaination other than to see an endrocrinoligist because he thought I had a circulation problem called Raynaud's Syndrome. It's an auto immune disorder that affects circulation and coloring of the hands/feet. My mom has it, so it wouldn't surprise me if that's what I had, but I don't really want to be diagnosed with something like that at such a young age. It's not like I want to take serious drugs for it either, because most of the side effects from the drugs are worse than what I am dealing with now. So here's hoping for a short, warm (yeah right!) winter. Oh, and if you want to see what my feet look like when it flares, you can read my first post about it from back in the day.
