Saturday we celebrated the 3rd birthday of one of Brayden's very best friends, Avery. The party was at a local park, which Brayden and Connor both LOVED.

that's my boy. Check out his form ;)

After about 15 kids too their turn and the pinata still didn't bust, we put a dad to the task. Check out the plastic bat

and that's what happens when a dad uses a plastic bat on a pinata :)

LOTS of candy!

Sunday we served at church, and then left after serving to meet up with our friends Stacy & Orrin at the lake. The weather this time was GORGEOUS (last time it was kind of rainy)... pretty much picture perfect, other than some strong winds. We tubed a bit, but mainly just docked down and hung out in coves to swim. I was kind of nervous about going to the lake during what is normally naptime, but both boys surprised me and actually fell asleep on the boat. I didn't take many pictures since I was holding a sleeping Connor most of the boat ride. I also was stupid and didn't put sunblock on until about 3 hours after being on the water... big mistake that I payed for in the form of a nasty, nasty sunburn :(

Connor doing what he does best... EATING!

the cove we parked at for a while. Isn't it BEAUTIFUL?! I seriously could have stayed there forever.

me and Stacy. So grateful for her friendship.
We left the lake Sunday afternoon and went straight to a Memorial Day bbq later that evening. Brayden was so happy to just stay in his swim suit from the lake and go straight to the wading pool and slip-n-slide at his friend Jack's house. These slip-n-slide pics are hilarious to me... the dads were literally tossing the kids.

I love watching these two play together

Cooper's getting so big!

Connor was kind enough to do yardwork on his night off ;)

Ava

Connor LOVED it, despite not really understanding that he wasn't supposed to roll over (this was his first run down)

He was a pro after a while.
