Babies & Playroom Traffic Jams.

We had a laid back, slightly rainy weekend, which canceled most of our outdoor plans. Brayden was rather bummed having to miss soccer once again, but I'd be lying if I told you that I was bummed too.... As much as I am ready to not be cooped up in the house day in and day out, I do love the more laid back schedule of not having things to do on the weekends.

Tyler was happy about a laid back weekend-- and the chance to climb, his new favorite pasttime.
Sunday I went to a shower for my friend, Meredith. She just recently had a baby, so she had a sip and see. It was themed Mexican fiesta-- which if you know me, was basically a little bit of heaven for me. Babies and Mexican food-- what more can a girl ask for?!

me and my friend Candice. I'm not really not sure why I didn't get pics of me with my other friends there-- too busy yackin' and eating guacamole I imagine ;)
Sunday afternoon I walked past the playroom and happened upon this traffic jam...

I need to be honest with y'all... whenever I read blogs that show people's little boys sitting and playing with cars for hours and lining them up and organizing them, I've felt left out. I have 3 boys, and until Sunday, I had never seen such organizational skills with toys displayed in my home. We typically have flying toys (aka thrown objects), not ones that sit neatly in lines on toy highways. So this sight made my momma heart leap a little, thinking that all hope may not be lost in the toy department at our house. Here's to hoping anyways... ;)

This week's forecast calls for lots of sun, which my boys are excited about because this means they can finally wear shorts out in public. As for me, I see it as a way to start my spring cleaning and  get the errands that have been snowed down on my to-do list finally completed. Hope everyone has a great week!
