Weekend in Review. Bullet point edition.

I just don't have the creative juices flowing this morning, so I am going to do weekend in review in bullet form :) And flickr is seriously ticking me off because I have tried probably 5 times to upload all of my pictures and they WILL NOT upload. I'm tired of putting off the post, so I am just going ahead and posting, and when flickr decides to get it's act together I'll post all of the pictures.
  • Friday: We went to a little place in the mall that has a gym room that you can play in. If you live in the area I highly recommend it... it's only $5 for your whole family, and it burns a lot of energy for the kids. Brayden LOVED it, but was super whiny after we left, so I felt like the good that came from it was negated from the absolute IMPLOSION he had in the food court after we left.

  • Saturday: We had the boys swim lesson scheduled, but Connor started running a fever mid morning on Saturday so we held him out and Drew just took Brayden. I have NO idea why Connor was running a fever because he had no other symptoms, and it broke several hours later and he was fine. SO weird. I'm attributing it to teething. We also watched the Hogs on Saturday. I have to say, that Drew and I are pretty nervous about the game this weekend against Alabama.... our Hogs didn't look so hot :/ I also made an awesome meal on Saturday: chicken pesto stuffed Shells. YUMMY! The only thing that I didn't like about it is that my shells kind of dried out in the baking process, but I'm pretty sure that's my fault and not something wrong with the recipe.
  • Sunday: it was just Brayden and I at church. Drew stayed home with C... even though he was feeling fine, we just didn't want to chance giving germs to another baby in case he had something that was contagious. We figured after Sunday morning he would be in the clear. Sunday evening we started community group and I am SO excited about being in a group again. We'll be studying James, and I feel like it's not a coincidence that we're doing that study at this point in my life when I feel like I have been going through a lot of trials lately. Hoping to develop some good friendships and dig into God's word.
The weather here is dreary, so we'll be spending lots of time inside this week probably. Hope everyone has a great week!
