- My creative well has run dry. Seriously, I sit down at the computer to write, and despite all of the thoughts swirling in my head, nothing comes out on screen or through finger. Do you guys have questions for me you'd like me to answer? Or things you'd like me to write about? Seriously, I'm an open book (for the most part), and I love interacting with my readers, so this is your shot!
- Obviously today is Friday, and obviously there is no Profile today. That's because no one else has contacted me yet.... if you'd like to be profiled in A Dollop of Profiles, just email me.
- Most of the fall leaves have fallen, and we had our first hard freeze this week. If it weren't Thanksgiving and Christmas time, I'd probably be sad about it. But really, my heart sings during this time of year, so I'll stay quiet.
- We bought a tablet PC. Not an ipad. We're not huge Mac fans, which probably goes against the grain of the vast majority of people. We got a Motorola Xoom because they were on clearance and it was the most bang for our buck. We love it. Drew especially, which is so funny to me since he's the least techy person in our family. To say everyone (and by everyone I mean all adults and toddlers on our home) are addicted to angry birds is an understatement. Drew and I may or may not have sat on the couch last night for 30 minutes discussions strategy on how to pass levels.
- Connor turns 1 tomorrow. I'm in complete denial and have mixed emotions. On the one hand, I am so sad to be exiting the baby phase, but then I get so happy when I see how much he is able to interact with Brayden. Watching brothers become friends is truly precious.
- I took this picture of Brayden yesterday while we were playing in his room. The light in his room is fabulous in the afternoon, so I took the opportunity as it presented itself. He actually WANTED his picture taken, an oddity in this phase of not-wanting-to do-anything-my-mom says.
