We spent the morning at the splash park. I wish I had brought my camera. They played Disney music through a sound system, and Connor broke it down like nobody's business. We enjoyed snowcones at the splash park, and then finished up the morning with a quick run to Sam's for some pizza and a few grocery items. We all had great naps this afternoon, and then after dinner we headed to our favorite creek to splash and play with my Uncle and his family. The boys had a BLAST playing with their cousins. I love being so close to family and am so grateful for the blessing that they are in our lives!

Sweet boy was so brave and really enjoyed splashing around in the water. The was before he was completely soaked

passing by his daddy for a smile and high five

Drew caught a crawfish... the boys were mesmerized!

Brayden spent most of the evening catching more after he realized he could find them under the rocks

Connor was caught redhanded with the watermelon bucket

Sophie found slate and made "warrior paint". Brayden was intrigued by the girls painting their arms and decided he needed some too :)

How freakin' sweet is this picture??? He loves his cousins so much!

Sarah and Brayden

Sorry there are so many. I couldn't pick just a few... they're all so cute! He was painting his lips with the rock in this pic

Sophie and Brayden. Sophie was the flower girl in our wedding. She was the same age as Brayden in our wedding. That makes me feel REALLY old. And REALLY sad that Brayden will grow up just as fast :(

brothers throwing rocks together

Connor spent a good deal of time trying to pick up this HUGE rock and then tried to throw it. It took him a few times but he was eventually successful

And he was SO happy for himself when he finally got that big rock thrown!

I mean, seriously. How cute is he?!?!

A final hug with Uncle Paul before we left for the night.
We still have a few days off with Daddy for the holiday week, and have a few more fun things in store. So thankful for the freedom we were able to celebrate, and grateful for the men and women who have fought and defended our freedom!
