Laura and I share a mutual love of photography. Last summer she emailed me to tell me that she felt like the Lord was telling her to give up the money she had saved so that her husband could have it for a dream he had. I have to be honest... I just about fell off the couch when I read the email. I was astounded at the obedience to God that Laura showed, in giving up a dream of hers so that her husband could follow his dream. As her friend it is so special for me to see how the Lord has blessed Laura for her obedience.
The special thing about Laura's obedience, is that we all get to benefit from it. You see, Laura's husband, Mike, wrote a children's book and had it published! It's such a cute, simple book for kids, yet even with its simplicity it shares such a great big message of how much God loves His children.
