How I Display Pictures (So Far Anyway).

I'll be honest. I'm TERRIBLE at getting pictures developed. Which is slightly ironic seeing how I take SO many pictures of the boys on an almost daily basis. It's just a lot easier for me to edit, upload and blog about them than it is to edit, crop, upload, and order them. BUT... when we moved into the house I promised myself that I would start hanging some of our favorite pictures of the boys. I don't have a lot up yet, but I thought I'd show you what I have so far and then some of the ideas I have for certain places in my house.

I'm pretty sure you all probably know that my pride and joy is the stacked chevron frame I made. It's definitely the statement piece right now when it comes to decoration.

I'm actually working on a 6 picture frame, made out of an antique window. I ordered the prints the other night and they are on their way to my house as I type (I used mpix.com for my prints). The window is finally finished and waiting for the hanging hardware. Here's what it looked like before I started sanding:

It will go above our leather couch in our living room on this wall:

In our entryway I have two cute little distressed frames I bought from TJ Maxx.

I have another distressed frame on my mantle (also from TJ Maxx).

In our big hallway I'd love to eventually have a gallery wall of some type with big chunky frames. But considering I have two boys who like to run and throw through this hallway, this may not happen for several years ;)

This is one of the inspirations I have pinned. I'm not a huge fan of the vinyl lettering on this, but I love the way they put together all different sizes and thicknesses of frames.

In the hallway outside of our master bedroom I have this open space:

And I want to create this wall out of it:

In our master bedroom I have these two pictures on our nightstand. The one on the left is a picture of us from the cruise we took after Drew got back from his deployment in 2007. The picture on the right is from our wedding, and is one of my all time favorite pictures.

Above our bed I want to either do this:

Or this (minus the vinyl lettering):

In our boys bathroom/guest bath, I have these two frames displaying a word art and a picture of the boys:
