This weekend was interesting to say the least. Friday I took B out to take some portraits for his 11 month birthday. Trying to take pictures of a little boy in a field by yourself is difficult. Every other shutter click was running back and forth grabbing grass out his mouth. Many of the pictures came out looking like this:

After the field I met a friend up at the local fire station for some more pictures. Brayden was mesmerized by the lights of the fire truck, but wasn't so sure when I set him down for the photo op.
This is one of my new favorite pictures of him. EVER.It is also labeled, "things that make you go, Hmmm?!"

Saturday we had a vet appointment for Toby, B's swim class, our weekly trip to Sam's and a birthday party on Saturday afternoon. Brayden's friend Jack turned one this past week... I can't believe our boys are one year old! I haven't had time to even load the pictures onto the computer, so I'll have to save them for another post once I get some time to sort through them and edit them. Drew came down with a fever before the party, so B and I quickly got out of the house to avoid the germs. Thankfully by Sunday afternoon Drew was feeling back to his normal self. Not really sure what he had, but I am praying that neither B nor I catch it.
Today I went to church by myself. Boy, what a chore to get myself and a baby to church by myself. It made me thankful for Drew helping with bags, bottles and the baby to boot! When I went to pick up Brayden from class, he was crashed out on a teacher's lap. He stayed asleep from her picking him up to bring him to me, me getting him in the car seat, the whole ride home, getting out of the car seat and into the crib. I was worried it would throw him off schedule because at this point it was only 12:30, but he slept until 3pm-- that boy was TIRED! I got a nap too thanks to his long one, and when he woke up we enjoyed the rest of the afternoon at the park!
It's a busy week ahead of us, so I am bracing for impact. Sorry this post isn't chaulked full of pictures. A majority of the pics I took were at the party, and I just didn't have time to get to all of them this weekend. Oh, and be on the lookout for more pics from the fire station this week... there are some GOOD ones!
