Well, I unfortunately forgot my camera on the way to the park yesterday, so this post is sans-pictures. We had to run a bunch of errands yesterday afternoon, so I decided to pack along the extra hotdog buns I had leftover from the bonfire on Sunday and take B to feed the ducks at the park. Can I just tell you that feeding ducks might be the cheapest entertainment with a toddler?! The kid was MESMERIZED by the ducks and kept pointing at all of them. These ducks are not shy either, so they would come right up to the stroller and eat right out of B's hand-- thrill of all thrills I tell you! I was a bit disturbed by one of the geese that kept pecking at my leg when I would feed it a WHOLE bun. I thought about kicking it, but there were other people around and I didn't want to get called in for animal abuse or something. We literally sat there for over 30 minutes just feeding the ducks and watching them chase each other-- bread is serious business in the duck world! Brayden decided to get in on some of the action and ate about half of a bun while we fed them. If you have little ones and need something to do, I highly recommend feeding the ducks... not much else you can do for $1 from the discount bakery!
B's birthday is on Friday and we are gearing up full force at our house. Presents are being prepared to be wrapped, gifts are being bought last minute (mom and I hit it up big at a local consignment sale tonight!) and plans are being made for the little man's BIG day! Can't wait to show yall all of the details after the big day on Saturday!
Also, I have another giveaway up my sleeve that you're not going to want to miss out on... be sure to check back for more info on that!
