Putting Up the Tree

This post is a bit late, but better late than never. While my mom was here, we decided to venture out and pick out our Christmas tree. I know to some people it may not seem like a big deal, but getting the tree (even if it's from Lowe's) was a big deal growing up. I didn't want to miss out on this tradition, so we packed up both of the boys and headed to Lowe's. Brayden was not too into picking it out, so it was probably a good thing that Drew found one pretty fast. We packed it up and headed home. The next day, after the tree had fallen out, we put up a few ornaments (we have breakable ornaments so we went light this year since we have a toddler who is obsessed with balls!). Brayden has been pretty good with the tree, and hasn't broken anything (yet!). Here are a few pics of us picking it out and then decorating it.

I hate that this turned out blurry, but I had to put it on here. When I was little, we would turn out all of the lights (except for the tree) and lay under the tree looking up at the limbs and lights. I decided we should do this with Brayden and he LOVED it. I love passing on traditions!

Connor laid on the floor most of the time we were decorating-- Brayden went to sit next to him and gave us a cheesy smile :)

Ofcourse, then he wanted to give him a kiss... poor Connor!

Then he wanted to lay next to him. He's such a good big brother!
