Praise the Lord it's Friday! We have been cooped up in the house due to Brayden's hand foot mouth disease, but today we are FREE BIRDS. HOORAY! We plan on going to the pool with Daddy later today, and probably more outdoor adventures tomorrow and Sunday if we can stand the heat. I seriously have felt like I was going crazy this week, and I think some of Brayden's fussiness this week can definitely be attributed to a lack of different scenery. I hope everyone has a great weekend!

1. What do you think makes a good friend, or friendship?
Honesty is #1 with any friendship. Someone who will laugh with you, cry with you and be able to jump for joy with you.
2. What is the last thing you bought & later regretted?
I honestly can't remember anything. I rarely buy on impulse. Generally I'll see it, put it back on the shelf, go home and think about it for a few days, weeks or months, and then if I am STILL thinking about it and think I still need it as badly as the day I saw it, I'll go back to get it. Very un-American right? It keeps me in check from buying things that I really don't need, or can't afford.
3. Have you ever had a prank played on you?
Oh my goodness, have I had a prank played on me. Yes. I must give the entire story for it to make sense and actually make you laugh though. Several years ago, we were spending our traditional July 4th with my Aunt and Uncle, my cousins and my family. Traditionally, we always go to this levy of a lake, and shoot off a bajillion dollars of fireworks into the week hours of the evening/early morning. This particular year we were in a pretty bad drought in Arkansas. I mean, the grass crunched beneath your feet when you walked on it. It was DRY. On the opposite side of the levy was really tall weed grass. While we were all having fun with sparklers, one of my cousins (who was probably about 8-9 at the time) looked over to the grassy weed area and said (in a totally innocent, little girl voice), "hey look, it's on fire over there." No lie, there was about a 3-4 foot wide by 4 foot high fire. Drew ripped his shirt off ran over and started beating down the flames while my dad ran to get buckets of water (not sure where he got a bucket from) from the lake on the other side of the levy. They got the fire out, we continued on with our fireworks just in time for the cops to arrive to do their drive through. The cops never stopped us, and simply drove up the levy as we were driving down it. I was nervous, because i am not a rule breaker so it makes me nervous when the law comes and I know I've done something wrong (yes, popping fireworks in Arkansas, atleast where I live, is not exactly legal). I wiped my brow at the close call, and we went home. The next morning when we arrived at my Aunt and Uncle's house for brunch, my uncle had a serious look on his face. He told us we needed to put our car in their garage. I questioned why and he said he needed to show me something. He pulled up a webpage of a local news station in the area, and on the web page is a report of how a brush fire started in the early morning hours at the same spot we had popped fireworks. The site went on to say that the authorities weren't able to stop the fire before a house was burnt down, and that authorities were looking for the culprits, and it had my license # on the website. Our car was the last one in the caravan line that night, so my Uncle told me he thought that the cops could've gotten my tags that way. I was FREAKING out. FREAKING OUT. I mean, pacing the floors, freaking out. Drew was laughing and just went out to move the car. I chased after him, and basically ripped into him on why he was laughing. Then my mom comes out of the house with a video camera. She's laughing. Then they all come out of the house and EVERYONE is laughing. Jokes on me. No fire. No authorities searching for my car. Just me, about to have a freaking heart attack in my mid 20s. Goodness gracious. And for the record, Drew was never in on the prank, so I have absolutely no clue what he found so utterly amusing in that instance.
4. What is your favorite theme park?
I really am not a huge theme park goer. I much prefer sports events. I guess I would have to go with Six Flags, since that's really all I've ever been to.
5. Have you ever seen someone else give birth?
Heck to the no. Gross. They offered to let me have a mirror during the birth of Brayden and I kindly told them "no thanks". And when the doctor showed me the placenta after Brayden was born, I literally gagged. Why in the world do they do that to you after just going through labor???? Birth is very much the biggest miracle I've ever experienced, but to watch someone else go through would be more than I can bear.
