28 Weeks... Downhill Slope

Sorry for my absense over the weekend. Drew and I were able to get away on a much needed getaway without Brayden. We love our boy, but we both were needing some good R&R time to reconnect and relax. The trip was amazing, and I will definitely have a blog post up soon about our awesome trip to Dallas. Today I am recuperation mode from the travels and trying to get our house back into a somewhat orderly state.

I can't believe that today marks 28 weeks into this pregnancy. It feels like just yesterday we found out we were pregnant and now I only have 12 more weeks to go! I am starting to get a little stressed by the fact that the nursery, nor Brayden's room are even close to ready, and at this point I am just hoping my babes have places to sleep come November 30th.

As far as how I feel, I feel great. I mean, I get the occasional pregnancy cramp, am ever so tired out by just the everyday tasks, and am starting to get winded just by talking too much, but other than that everything seems dandy. I have started experiencing braxton hicks. It seems a lot earlier than with Brayden, but this is all coming from someone who had to be convinced I truly was in labor the first time, so it's no surprise I'd be in a bit of denial about false labor pains too!

Connor has "woken up" in the womb, and has consistent wake times. Normally at around 6:30am, and usually around 10:30/11:00pm. He'll often wake up during one of my many middle of the night bathroom breaks too, which is mucho funo, especially when I desperately want to go back to sleep! I've told people this entire pregnancy that he seems much more laid back than Brayden ever was in utero, but these bouts of activity have me second guessing my opinion of son #2's demeanor.

And for those baby bump stalkers, here's some food for you. Please forgive my crazy hair-- we were about to leave the hotel yesterday morning and had an impromptu baby belly photoshoot, and my hair was a mess!
