Weekend in Review: Rain, The Hogs & Silly Brayden.

After our first week of full fall activities, we had a relatively calm weekend.

Friday we had a steady, hard rain for most of the day. This meant that we were stuck inside all day. I officially declared it movie day. We spent most of the day watching movies or coloring. At one point Brayden asked for chocolate cookies. I obliged.

Coloring time on daddy's table from when he was a little boy. I've moved the table out of Brayden's room into the kitchen. I think we'll use it more if it's in there.

Saturday the boys had swim lessons. I actually got some video on my phone that I need to upload so that the grands can see them in action. Brayden started doing side breaths during his lessons, and also started working on learning the beginning stage of back stroke. I am one proud mama! After swimming we ran some errands and then headed home. The rest of Saturday was spent enduring the apocalypse of our Razorbacks. I still love the Hogs, and I still back the decision Jeff Long made in firing Bobby Petrino, but this season is going to be brutal. Whew. The best part of Saturday was definitely when Brayden prayed at dinner, and thanked God for his armpits. Drew and I could hardly contain our laughter.

Watching the football game. The plus side was the yummy kettle corn I made for the game! DELICIOUS!

Brayden spent the game practicing his art skills. This is his "silly man".

Today we went to church, took naps and then headed to the birthday party of our sweet friend Ella. I need to edit a ton of pictures from the party, so until I do, I leave you with my favorite from the day... this is senior yearbook material folks!

Have a great week!
