Finally Friday!

Welcome Friday! I am open armed and ready to embrace Friday, and it's friends Saturday and Sunday. I love the weekends, mostly now because I have Drew here to help corral the troops. Life is just a bit easier when you have 4 hands to do what I normally only do with two. And to ice this weekend's cake, I'll be spending some time with some of my besties at Starbucks tonight. Nope, life can't get much better than this.

I'd also like to note to my regular readers that I am sorry for not really posting much more than pictures lately. Truth is, I have a lot, A LOT going on in my head. And I am not really sure how to write it on this blog without sounding too crass or hateful. I do want you to know that behind the pictures, life is hard. I never want people to think that I've got it altogether, or that my ramblings on how life IS hard means that I am in someway becoming negative Nancy. Neither are my intentions. I mean for this blog to be an honest view of my life-- with a dollop of my life comes good, bad and ugly. I could go on, but I shall digress. Someday soon I'll muster up the courage to write it all down. Until then, feast your reading eyes on my answers for this week's 5QF.

1. What is your current favorite book, and why?
Honestly, I haven't picked up a book in quite a while. There's not much time to read when you have a toddler and a newborn. I have been reading Karen Kingsbury's Take 1 while I am nursing Connor, which means only a few pages at a time. It's good, like all her books, but it's not one that I would call my favorite. I have on order "The Strong Willed Child" by James Dobson, and I am pretty certain that will be my new favorite book once it comes in. Lord knows I need it!

2. Do you go to the dentist regularly?
Yes! I've gone every 6 months since I can remember. I have to beg, plead and pull legs for Drew to go to the dentist. In fact, Drew, if you are reading this, YOU NEED TO MAKE YOUR APPOINTMENT (he hasn't been in over a year).

3. What is your worst memory from High School?
The night we played CAC and all of the senior got back to the school to find our cars had been vandalized by the hoodlum's at Joe T. My car got egged and keyed, but some people's cars got windows smashed and rocks thrown into the hoods. It was bad. So bad in fact, that PA and Joe T. couldn't play sports against each other for a while.

4. What do you hope to be remembered for in your life?
That I lived my life to the fullest, that I was honest about life, that I loved my husband and kids with all that I had, and that Jesus was the center of it all.

5. Are you superstitious or do you have any superstitions?
No, and no.
