Despite the heat coming back to haunt us YET AGAIN, I am so glad that it's Friday. The thought of Drew not having to go to work for two days just warms my heart. Well, that and the fact that he's so good about giving me a little down time from my daily rituals like feeding little man, dealing with poopy diapers and fussy behavior. Yes, he's a good one. And no, you can't have him. We have a few things planned for the weekend, and hopefully we can find some time to have some fun family time. But now, without further ado, I give you my answers for 5QF!

1. Do you have any nicknames and if so how did it come about?
I have a couple actually. The most common is Linds, thus my blogging name. Obviously it's just a short for my full name, but most of my close friends, my family, and my spouse all call me Linds. My Dad has always called me Loo-Loo, or Loobug. Like, I don't even remember a time when he didn't call me that! But that's really just a nickname that he uses, not anyone else (I'd actually be pretty freaked/annoyed if someone else called me Loo...haha!). Drew calls me Babe, but I am not sure that counts as a nickname or a term of endearment. Either way, I like it.
2. What is your birth order amongst your siblings?
I am the oldest (MUAHHHHAHHHHHAHAHAH). Sadly, I was a mean big sister. A very mean big sister. my siblings still recount stories that Drew can't believe happened. Thankfully, they have all forgiven me. I am praying to the dear Lord that Brayden is a bit nicer to Connor and any other siblings he may have (and it should be noted that any subsequent siblings will be coming a lot later on down the road... no time in the near future... if we can plan our lives accordingly!)
3. In a movie of your life, who would play your significant other?
Oh geez, this is a hard one. Well, if I was going to be all dreamy and just be honest (and Drew already knows this, so don't be dogging on me for saying this), probably Patrick Dempsey. Just because I would be dreamy. But if I was being honest, it would need to be someone that can come across and act like a good ol' boy. I couldn't think of someone off the top of my head. Then I thought of the guy from Sweet Home Alabama (ironically enough Patrick Dempsey is also in that film). I looked up his name... it's Josh Lucas. That character that he played kind of reminds me of Drew a little bit. So I guess I'll say that. Let's hope that my life doesn't turn into a movie though. The theaters would boycott due to all the drool on the chairs since people would be put to sleep.
4. What is currently your favorite song?
Why does there always have to be questions about songs?! Aggghhh. I am admittedly a talk radio person much more than I am radio. I love Colin Cowherd. But if there is music on in the car, it's usually on our Christian station. So I guess I'd have to say "Our God" by Chris Tomlin.
5. Are you saving your money for anything right now? Big or small purchase?
As a couple, we're always saving... for something! LOL. We're actually saving for a down payment on a house, that way we can keep our current house as a rental (not sure we have much choice since the market here has been hit by the recession). I know this sounds silly, but we're saving for a trip for our 10 year anniversary (which is 3.5 years away). We'd both like to go on a big trip again, and it will take us a while to save up for it, so we decided to start a little early. As for me, I save my personal money for eating out. I know that sound so silly, but we honestly don't have the money in our budget to eat out a whole lot, and I LOVE to eat out. Nothing like having someone serve on you, and then get up and not have to worry about picking up dishes! I am also saving money for little baby things that are not seriously necessary-- like embroidered burp cloths :)

I hope everyone has a great weekend!
